Oranges and Basil Pimm

- 300ml each gin and sweet vermouth
- 175ml Cointreau or other orange liqueur
- 1 orange, halved, sliced, plus extra slices to serve
- 20g ginger, sliced
- Chilled tonic water or lemonade and basil leaves, to serve
- Combine gin, vermouth and Cointreau in a jug. Add orange and ginger, then chill.
- Strain into glasses filled with ice and pour over mixer.
- Serve with basil and orange.
