Oranges and Basil Pimm

Ingredients:

  • 300ml each gin and sweet vermouth
  • 175ml Cointreau or other orange liqueur
  • 1 orange, halved, sliced, plus extra slices to serve
  • 20g ginger, sliced
  • Chilled tonic water or lemonade and basil leaves, to serve

 

Method:

  •  Combine gin, vermouth and Cointreau in a jug. Add orange and ginger, then chill.
  • Strain into glasses filled with ice and pour over mixer.
  • Serve with basil and orange.
